Aplikasi SMS Gateway Data Request Dan Automatic Reply Informasi Akademik Di SMAN 16 Bandung

SMS Gateway yaitu kesatuan perangkat yang minimal terdiri dari sebuah PC dengan modem GSM/CDMA, sebuah kartu GSM/CDMA dengan nomor direct/premium, dan sebuah program aplikasi yang berfungsi untuk mengorganisasi (menerima atau mengirim) sms. Aplikasi SMS Gateway mampu mengintegrasikan antara teknologi ponsel dengan komputer (PC). Banyak jenis SMS Gateway yang dikembangkan, salah satunya yaitu Sistem Informasi Akademik Berbasis SMS Gateway. Dengan adanya SMS akademik, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan prestasi siswa. SMS Akademik dapat mengirimkan info sekolah tersebut ke seluler orangtua, seperti informasi siswa, pembayaran SPP, nilai, dan lain sebagainya.

Di SMA Negeri 16 Bandung dalam proses akademik setiap harinya selalu saja ada absensi siswa yang alpha, nilai-nilai yang tidak memuaskan, dan belum melunasi spp sampai batas akhir pembayaran. Hal tersebut menjadikan suatu keresahan bagi pihak sekolah, apakah orangtua mereka tahu atau tidak. Maka salah satu cara yang ditempuh oleh pihak sekolah adalah membangun Aplikasi SMS Gateway Data Request dan Automatic Reply Informasi Akademik di SMAN 16 Bandung. Sehingga para orangtua dapat ikut serta mengawasi kegiatan anaknya di sekolah. Setiap pengiriman SMS akan dibalas secara otomatis oleh sistem sesuai dengan format yang telah ditentukan. Sedangkan SMS manual yang dikirimkan oleh server tanpa adanya pengiriman SMS sebelumnya. SMS manual ini berupa informasiinformasi di sekolah.

So that all parents can join in observe that child activity. Every send SMS will reciprocate automatically by system as according to format which have determine. While manual SMS which send by server without existence of SMS from parents. This manual SMS in the from of school informations.
